A giant tree is running after you. Monsters are waiting up ahead. And somehow, you’re supposed to make it through both. That’s the situation Boss vs Warriors drops you into, and the tree isn’t exactly interested in letting you catch your breath.
You can choose 1 of 4 characters before the chase begins: a wizard, a horned warrior, a green-skinned fighter, or a hooded archer. Once you’re moving, you’ll need to jump over trouble, attack anything blocking your path, and grab coins along the way.
It sounds easy when your only real options are jumping and attacking. Then one monster shows up right after another, your health starts slipping, and that giant tree suddenly feels a lot closer than it did a second ago. Miss your timing, and things go downhill fast.
The characters and monsters have a cartoonish look, which makes the whole chase feel a little ridiculous in the best way. Your health bar sits at the top of the screen, your score stays at the bottom, and the oversized tree keeps coming whether you’re ready or not.
