A cannon at the bottom of the screen fires numbered bubbles into the play area above. Your job is to pick the right angle and send compatible bubbles crashing into each other to create a higher value. Keep merging and the numbers will climb, gradually opening a path toward the current level’s goal.
Aiming directly at the target is the obvious move, but Bubble Merge also lets shots bounce off the walls before reaching their destination. That comes in handy when another bubble blocks the direct route or when you need to squeeze a shot into a tight spot. Miss the angle by a little, though, and the bubble can end up somewhere completely different.
A typical turn starts with checking the bubble loaded in the cannon, finding a suitable target, and lining up the shot. Once fired, the bubble follows a physics-based path, bouncing off walls or colliding with other bubbles before coming to rest. When compatible values meet, they combine into a new bubble with a larger number.
The controls are simple, but firing at whatever catches your eye can leave bubbles scattered around the board with no easy way to connect them later. The first few shots usually feel forgiving because there’s plenty of open space. Once things get crowded, one badly placed bubble can wreck the angle you had lined up.
The game also limits attempts through an energy system, with each run costing one energy. That makes careless shots followed by constant restarts a waste. It pays to study the layout and plan a few merges before jumping in, so you don’t burn energy on a run that goes nowhere. Bubble Merge also features a prize wheel, boosters, and other rewards.
The merging effects are clean and easy to follow. A new number appears as soon as two bubbles combine, so you immediately know whether the shot worked. That quick feedback creates a strong “just one more shot” pull—but rush too many moves and the whole board can fall apart just as quickly.
