description Description

A princess has been kidnapped and locked away in a tall tower. Monsters are guarding the paths, and two brave knights are getting ready to rush in and save her. Sounds like the beginning of a cartoon adventure, right? But this time, you’re the one who decides whether the rescue mission succeeds! Heroes Legend is a side-scrolling action game published by RHM Interactive OU, and you can play it online on Woko Games. The fun part is that 2 people can play together, controlling two knights as they fight monsters and make their way through 16 levels of the tower. Being a hero is hard enough on your own, but will having a partner make things any easier?

The two main characters in Heroes Legend look pretty funny. One knight wears gray armor with a bright red plume on his helmet, while the other has blue armor and a helmet decorated with wings. They’re both small, carrying swords and looking more like characters from a comic book than fearsome warriors. But don’t let their looks fool you! Ahead of them are rooms full of monsters, stone platforms at different heights, and tricky paths where the two knights will need to work together to keep their adventure going.

In Heroes Legend, your mission isn’t just about defeating every monster in your way. The two knights need to climb through the tower, collect keys to unlock the upper levels, and eventually rescue the captured princess. The game has 16 levels in total, starting with the first one and gradually unlocking new challenges as you progress. Every level you complete brings you one step closer to saving the princess. Looking at all those locked levels on the selection screen, it’s pretty clear that these two little knights have a lot of work ahead of them!

The levels feature classic 2D platforming gameplay, with gray stone walls, brick floors, ledges, and areas at different heights. You’ll come across ladders connecting different floors, boxes blocking your path, objects hanging from the ceiling, and even metal cages. There are also shiny blue diamonds scattered throughout the levels for you to collect. Beyond the stone walls, you’ll see green trees and colorful scenery that make the tower feel like part of a fairy-tale world. But that peaceful background won’t help much when a bunch of monsters are waiting right in your path!

Speaking of monsters, Heroes Legend has some pretty funny-looking enemies. You’ll run into soft, pink, jelly-like creatures that look like walking blobs, along with small green monsters hiding around the rooms. They might look cute, but they’re still enemies your knights have to deal with. You can attack them with weapons while moving and jumping through dangerous areas. According to the game’s description, you’ll have access to swords, axes, bows and arrows, and even magical weapons. So rescuing the princess involves a lot more than just swinging a regular sword.

One thing I really like about the game is the double-jump mechanic. By pressing the jump button twice, your character can jump again while still in the air, helping you reach higher platforms. It’s especially useful in levels with multiple floors and gaps between platforms. But don’t get too confident just because you can jump twice! You still need to watch where you’re going to land, especially when there are monsters above you or small ledges to reach. A well-timed jump can get you past an obstacle, while a poorly timed one might send your knight falling to the floor below.

Probably the best part of Heroes Legend is playing with a friend. Both of you share the same keyboard, but each person controls a different knight. You can focus on fighting monsters while your friend explores another area to collect diamonds or find the way forward. Of course, having a teammate can also lead to some pretty funny moments. Imagine carefully getting ready for a jump while the person sitting next to you keeps attacking those pink monsters and telling you to hurry up. You haven’t even rescued the princess yet, and the two knights are already arguing about who’s slowing everyone down!

Each knight has a separate section of the screen showing their character icon, weapon, and 3 pink hearts. At the top center, there’s also a counter showing how many diamonds you’ve collected. Having information for both characters on the screen makes it easier to keep track of what’s happening while you’re moving and fighting. You’ll also notice question-mark symbols in certain areas of the levels, adding a little mystery to your adventure. If you enjoy exploring, you might want to spend some time checking out each room instead of rushing straight to the end.

Visually, Heroes Legend uses a colorful 2D cartoon style. The characters have a cute, chibi-like design, with oversized heads, small bodies, and armor full of fun little details. The castle walls are dark gray, making the knights, pink monsters, and blue diamonds stand out clearly. The level selection screen looks like a large wooden board, surrounded by pictures of knights and strange creatures. I think this art style works really well for a two-player game. Even when you’re fighting your way through a castle full of monsters, everything feels more playful than scary.

To get the most out of Heroes Legend, you’ll need to get comfortable with moving, jumping, attacking, and switching weapons. Don’t forget to use your double jump when you need to reach a higher platform. As you explore, keep an eye out for diamonds, keys, and paths that might lead to the next floor. If you’re playing with a friend, it’s also a good idea to watch where your teammate is, especially when your knights are exploring different parts of the same level.

Can these two tiny knights make it through all 16 levels and rescue the princess from the tower? Play Heroes Legend on Woko Games, invite a friend, and jump into an adventure packed with monsters, weapons, and fun challenges. You can be the brave hero who always charges into battle, or the teammate who spends most of the time collecting diamonds while your friend does all the fighting. Just don’t get so busy arguing about who’s the better knight that you forget the real mission. The princess is still waiting in that tower!
