Three matching animals disappear. Sounds easy enough. But in Hamster Pop, a few bad picks can quickly fill the tray while the animal you need is still buried somewhere under the pile.
The idea is to select animal tiles from the board and move them into the tray below. Once you collect three matching animals, the set disappears and you earn points. To clear the level, you need to remove every tile without running out of space in the tray.
The tiles are stacked in several layers, so not every animal is available right away. Removing one tile reveals others hidden underneath. You might find two matching animals while the third is still covered, which means choosing the right layer to open first can make all the difference.
When I first started playing, I grabbed anything that looked like a match. Before long, the tray was packed with animals that were each missing a third tile. After losing a few rounds, I realized that saving space matters more than matching quickly. Pick the tiles in the right order, and one trio after another clears away until the whole pile is gone.
Hamster Pop keeps things cute with colorful, square-shaped animals and plenty of funny little expressions. The rules are easy to pick up, but once more tiles are buried underneath, every choice deserves a second look.
Choose carefully, keep the tray from filling up, and see if you can clear the entire board before you run out of room.
