Back when I was a kid, I used to play a lot of 1v1 duels on phones and browser sites. The best part was standing on opposite sides of the screen, trading shots, and seeing who could dodge faster. In the game, you and the CPU face off from inside two stone towers. You play as the blue archer, while the enemy stands across in green. The game packs 20 levels (Level 1 through Level 20) that get tougher as you move up. You start with 3 heart lives in the corner of the screen, and all you have to do is climb up and down your ladder to dodge incoming arrows while waiting for the right moment to fire back.
You might think you can just stand in one spot and mash the attack button to win, but the CPU shoots fast. If you get caught mid-climb, react too late, or mess up your timing on the ladder, you will take an arrow and lose a heart right away. Dropping down just in time to watch an arrow fly right over your head, then climbing back up to hit the yellow button and take the enemy down feels super satisfying.
