A Wild West town with a saloon, a sheriff’s jail, a bank, and dusty streets already feels like a good place for a gunfight. Add zombies, and things go off the rails fast. Wild West Zombie Clash on Woko Games, published by G55.CO, puts you in the boots of a gunslinger trying to survive each round with guns, grenades, and whatever weapon you can get your hands on.
The game uses a third-person view. Your character moves freely around the town while the camera stays behind you, making it easier to watch the road ahead and keep an eye on zombies coming from the sides. The streets are fairly open, but crates, porches, and buildings create plenty of blind spots. That is what makes standing still and shooting nonstop a bad idea. More than once, I had a zombie show up from the side while I was focused on something farther down the street.
Round 1 starts with a timer close to 3 minutes, Health at 100, and the Ammo display showing 10/999. Your goal is to survive the zombie waves for the duration of the round and make it through to the next one. According to the game description, surviving rounds also unlocks new guns, so progress is not just about killing more zombies. You are also building out your weapon options as you go.
After a few minutes, Wild West Zombie Clash starts to feel more like a game of distance management than a simple aim-and-shoot setup. Zombies can close the gap pretty quickly, and when several come from different directions, backing up or changing position is usually safer than trying to empty the magazine in one spot. Shift lets you sprint, while Ctrl and X let you lower your stance if you want to change how you move or hold a position.
The weapon controls are also a little deeper than a basic browser shooter. Right Mouse Button is used to aim, Left Mouse Button fires, R reloads, and the mouse wheel switches weapons. You can also use E to pick up or throw weapons. I like that because the fight does not revolve around one gun the whole time. Swapping weapons or grabbing something new while zombies are closing in adds the right kind of chaos.
Grenades are especially useful when several zombies bunch together. Press G to throw one, and it makes more sense to save them for crowded moments instead of wasting one on a single target. The game description also highlights both modern weapons and grenades, which creates a funny contrast with the old Western setting.
The visuals in Wild West Zombie Clash are not overly detailed, but the setting comes through clearly. Wooden buildings, Cat Poison Saloon, Sheriff Jail, Guntown Bank, a church in the distance, wagons, and stacked crates make the map feel like an abandoned frontier town instead of a generic shooter arena. Zombies in torn clothes running through bright, dusty streets look a little strange, but that weird mix fits the game pretty well.
I also like how the HUD keeps the important information easy to read. Health sits in the lower-left corner, Ammo in the lower-right, and the timer stays at the top. When you are constantly turning the camera to check different directions, not having to search through a cluttered interface is a real plus.
As the number of zombies grows, positioning matters more and more. One zombie right in front of you may be less dangerous than two coming from opposite sides. Sometimes running through the open space between buildings can pull the group into one direction, giving you a better chance to turn around and fire. Those moments make Wild West Zombie Clash on Woko Games feel more active than a simple shooting gallery.
If you like browser shooters with zombies, a full set of movement controls, and a bit of cowboy flavor, this one is easy to get into. Survive the round, switch weapons, throw grenades, and do not let the zombies reach you while you are reloading. The Wild West was already rough enough without the undead.
