A red ball enters the screen. You click the red strip along the bottom, and a laser fires upward. Aim a little off, though, and the beam sails right past it. Side Defender is a reflex puzzle game on Woko Games where matching the color is only half the job. You still have to land the shot.
There’s a red strip at the bottom of the play area and a yellow one on the right. Click or tap either strip to fire a laser of the same color. Red balls need red beams; yellow balls need yellow beams. Where you click on the strip determines the laser’s path, so check the ball’s position before you shoot.
The color rule clicks pretty quickly. Lining up the beam is another story. It’s easy to spot a ball, pick the right strip, and then watch your shot miss by a hair. When more balls appear, your eyes have to jump between both sides of the screen to set up the next shot.
Side Defender works well when you want a quick game with a clear rule that still demands your attention. See how steady your aim stays when red and yellow balls both need dealing with.
