If you’ve played Bowmasters on Android or iOS, you probably remember its goofy cartoon characters and hilarious archery battles. But what if those familiar characters had to defend a tower against an entire army of monsters instead of fighting each other? That’s the idea behind BowMaster Tower Attack, a tower defense archery game published by Kiz10 and available on Woko Games. This time, you’re not fighting just one opponent. Grab your bow, take aim, and stop wave after wave of enemies before they destroy your tower!
In BowMaster Tower Attack, you control an archer dressed in green, standing on top of a stone watchtower on the right side of the screen. Enemies approach from the left, including some strange-looking skeleton soldiers wearing purple armor. Your job is to aim and shoot them before they reach your tower. Each enemy has its own health bar, so you can see how much damage you’ve dealt and decide who to shoot next. Sounds pretty simple, right? Well, when several enemies show up at once, you’ll need to shoot faster and make every arrow count.
Unlike Bowmasters, which focuses on one-on-one battles between characters, BowMaster Tower Attack uses side-scrolling tower defense gameplay. Your archer stays in one spot while enemies move across the screen from left to right. You need to aim carefully and hit your targets before they get too close. If you don’t stop them in time, they’ll damage your tower. The HP bar at the bottom of the screen starts at 100/100 and drops whenever your tower takes damage. I like this setup because you’re not just trying to land accurate shots. You also have to keep an eye on the battlefield and figure out which enemy to take down first.
Of course, arrows aren’t your only way to fight back. BowMaster Tower Attack also gives you special abilities, including a fireball attack. The skill button sits at the bottom of the battle screen, making it easy to use when things get hectic. You’ll also notice several other skill slots that are locked at first, giving you more abilities to work toward. An arrow might be enough to hurt one enemy, but when a whole group comes marching toward your tower, a little extra firepower sounds pretty good!
After each battle, you can spend the coins you’ve earned on upgrades. The upgrade menu includes three important stats: HP, Fire Rate, and Damage. HP helps your tower take more hits, Fire Rate improves how quickly you shoot, and Damage makes your attacks stronger. There are also other skill upgrades with their own prices. For example, the upgrade screen shows starting costs of 80 coins for HP, 40 for Fire Rate, and 60 for Damage. You can focus on shooting faster to deal with groups of enemies or increase your damage to take them down more efficiently. Figuring out what to upgrade first is part of the fun.
BowMaster Tower Attack has multiple levels that unlock as you complete the previous challenges. Enemies also get stronger as you progress, making those upgrades more important over time. The game features colorful 2D cartoon graphics and some pretty funny character designs. Behind the battlefield, you’ll see an old castle wall covered in cracks, torn banners, and a large wooden gate marked by battle damage. Meanwhile, your green-clad archer stands on his tower with a rather amusing expression. The whole scene looks lighthearted, but watching your tower’s HP slowly drop is enough to make you panic!
One thing that makes BowMaster Tower Attack enjoyable is that you don’t need to control an entire army or build a complicated defense system. With just one archer, one tower, and a lot of well-aimed shots, you can jump straight into some entertaining battles. Just don’t get so caught up in shooting arrows that you forget to upgrade your abilities. As the enemies grow stronger, your basic attacks won’t always be enough to stop them.
If you enjoy Bowmasters or archery games with tower defense elements, give BowMaster Tower Attack a try on Woko Games. Aim carefully, upgrade your weapons, and protect your tower through each battle. Think you can hold off an entire army of monsters with just a bow? There’s only one way to find out! And remember, you can afford to miss a few arrows, but your tower can’t take hits forever!
