description Description

Snake used to be simple: eat, grow longer, and try not to crash into yourself. Snake Battle on Woko Games keeps that basic idea, but drops you into a much busier arena. Other snakes are growing, turning, and trying to stay alive right alongside you. Eat, get bigger, avoid collisions, and do not let one greedy turn end the whole run.

Before a match starts, you can enter a player name and choose between two modes: Endless and Campaign. Endless is built around surviving for as long as possible, while Campaign splits the game into different Sectors. The Campaign screen shows 10 Sectors, and the first one has a target of 50 points. Having a clear goal makes Campaign feel more structured than simply chasing a high score.

During a match, you guide your snake around a dark arena and collect glowing dots scattered across the map. Each one helps your snake grow and raises your score. Getting longer gives you more presence on the board, but it also makes movement harder. This is the part I enjoy most. When your snake is short, changing direction feels easy. Once it gets long, one careless turn can put your head in a really bad spot.

The other snakes are what make Snake Battle feel different from classic Snake. You are not alone on an empty board. Rivals are constantly moving around the arena and can cut across your path. According to the game, you can use your body position to force enemies into a collision. Because of that, going straight for the nearest food is not always the smartest move. A well-timed turn can keep you safe and make another snake mess up instead.

I like how these close calls can change a run in seconds. One moment you are calmly collecting glowing dots, and the next another snake cuts in front of you and forces an instant turn. Those moments are usually over fast, but they can decide the whole match. A good score does not mean much if you crash a few seconds later just because you got greedy for one more dot.

The game also has coins and a small shop. Two items are shown: Shield and Mega Start, and each costs 50 coins. Shield prevents one death per game, while Mega Start lets you begin with a length of 20. I like Mega Start because it skips the early part when your snake is still tiny. Shield is more useful when you want a little extra protection during a strong run.

Dying does not always mean the match is over right away. You can choose Revive to continue and keep your current score, or select No Thanks to end the run. Reviving uses an ad and comes with a countdown, so you have to decide fairly quickly. When you are sitting on a good score, that Revive button suddenly becomes a lot harder to ignore.

The visuals in Snake Battle are simple, but they fit the gameplay well. The dark grid background makes the glowing snakes and food dots stand out clearly. Snakes come in different colors such as green, purple, and blue, so it is easy to notice who is moving nearby. The glow effects also add some life to the arena without making it hard to read.

I also like that the interface stays out of the way during a match. Score and Target sit in the corner, while most of the screen is left open for the arena. In a game where one second of distraction can send you straight into another snake, keeping the screen clean really helps.

On PC, you can use the arrow keys or WASD to change direction, while mobile devices use touch controls. The basics take almost no time to learn. The harder part is learning to think a few seconds ahead, especially once your snake gets longer and the arena starts filling up.

Snake Battle on Woko Games starts with a very familiar idea: eat to grow. Add a few other snakes, though, and the real question becomes how big you can get without dying. You can spend a full minute building a huge snake and lose everything because of one terrible turn. Naturally, that is also the kind of mistake that makes you hit Play again right away.
