description Description

The toilet already has a human head sticking out of it and guns mounted on both sides, so asking why it can jump feels a little beside the point. Skibidi Toilet Jumper on Woko Games puts this unlikely hero in an HTML5 arcade action game where you need to reach the top of a tower before the rising electric current catches up. With its square head, wide eyes, and white porcelain body, the character looks as though it wandered straight out of a brainrot video, but there’s no time to admire the absurdity. Robots are waiting on the platforms above, while blue-and-white electricity creeps up from below. You have to jump and shoot your way out of this mess. Those guns certainly look impressive; now you just need to get the toilet off the ground before the next floor becomes the least of its problems.

Horizontal platforms are stacked above one another in a vertical view, letting you check what’s waiting upstairs before you jump. The trouble is that the robots aren’t just there for decoration: they patrol on wheels, sport camera-like heads, and fire streaks of red gunfire. Even a fairly wide platform can suddenly feel cramped when shots cut across the spot you’re heading toward. You want to jump immediately and put some distance between yourself and the electricity, but you also need to check where the robots are. With enemies above and electricity below, waiting stops feeling like a safe option. If you linger on a lower floor trying to line everything up perfectly, the gap beneath you keeps shrinking; if you rush upward, you can put yourself right in front of a gun. You need to read the next platform and deal with what’s there rather than keep hitting jump and hope everything works itself out.

Your guns give you a way to clear out robots blocking the climb, but the ammo counter in the corner makes firing just for fun a less reassuring idea. It reads 10 in the tutorial, while robots are already positioned on several platforms above. Seeing the character equipped with guns makes me want to put them to work, although I still need to watch where the targets are. You also have to keep track of the robots’ red shots, because concentrating on an enemy can make you forget about your own path. Reaching another platform doesn’t necessarily give you a breather if there’s another machine patrolling the next one. You keep switching between checking your landing spot, watching a target, and preparing to jump again, all while the electricity climbs beneath you. Unfortunately for our porcelain hero, there isn’t much time to recover its dignity after a frantic scramble.

The blue grid-patterned walls and lighter platforms make individual floors easy to pick out at a glance. Dark robots, red shots, and blue-and-white electricity each have a distinct appearance, so you can identify threats without searching through a screen full of decorative clutter. The main character, meanwhile, keeps that slightly bewildered look that suits its predicament a little too well. I find the sight of a human head poking out of a toilet among all that machinery funny enough on its own, especially when I’m supposed to take its escape seriously. Your score appears during the run, while the opening screen displays a high score to aim for on the next attempt. You might show up out of curiosity about the Skibidi name, then find yourself watching the next platform and trying to climb just a little farther. Whether a toilet makes a convincing action hero can wait; getting this one away from the electricity is the more pressing concern.
